The Bassday Gyokusai 135F floating lure is a saltwater lure created to cast against strong winds. Equipped with two of Bassday's proprietary systems, the Torsion Spring Lock (TSL) mechanism and the Shaft Glider System, this is a super bullet minnow that prioritizes flight distance and altitude.

Using a double torsion spring, the TSL mechanism keeps the 14.5g tungsten weight locked in the front during the backswing of a cast and at the moment the casting power is transmitted to the lure, the torsion spring opens and moves forward, providing explosive torque and leading to a further distance and stable flight altitude, even in a strong headwind.

Bassday Torsion Spring Lock System

The action is a strong rolling and wobbling action so that even at slow speed, the lure swims well in shallow water. Even when fishing at night when the visibility is poor, it's possible to feel the action of the lure still. The depth of dive is set to less than 1m.

Ryan Ngler - Great for targeting pelagic fishes or other predator fishes that wait in ambush in the shallows. I've hit sharks, barracudas and queenfishes on this lure many times. It's a great casting minnow with the torsion spring lock system that gets you further distance when you need it. I prefer to use it at beaches with shallows and also rocky areas in low tide since this is a shallow water lure mainly. What I've found to be extremely effective is to give the lure a good solid twitch, that imparts a jerky action which mimics an injured baitfish, enticing predators to charge it.
