These Superse oval beads glow in dark environments and in UV light with a strong red glow. Most often used as an additional attractant when bait fishing, these are placed above the hooks, or sometimes in between multiple hooks when used in a gang hook rig. 

Also can be used a rod guide to protect them from damage in case you retrieve jigs too fast.
