Fishing at the breakers at Marina South Pier, Lorong Halus, or Punggol End, it's best for when the drop off is exposed and you crank this against the rocky bottom to attract predator fishes. 

Key point is that it has to be knocking against the seabed. The M65 is very buoyant, making it easy to free if you hit a snag. If you hit a snag, don't yank it, just give it line and pause, the lure should float up most of the time. You can also point your rod tip down when cranking to get an additional meter or two of depth if you need it.
