The Lumica Soft Lure Puni Ika X Wing is an ultra-lifelike artificial bait designed to deceive even the wariest saltwater species. The name "Puni-Ika" combines 'Puni', a Japanese onomatopoeia for chubby and jiggly, and "Ika", meaning squid. 

Crafted in Japan, the Puni-Ika is made from a durable material resistant to sharp-toothed predators, extending the life of the lure and reducing replacement costs. Additionally, squid extract is infused into the rubber-like material, enhancing realism and imparting a scent that fishes cannot resist. 

Without sinkers, the Puni-Ika floats, but with properly adjusted weights, it can be made to suspend mid-water. The lure's design also keeps the hook away from underwater snags when fishing on rocky bottoms.

Ryan Ngler - Very versatile soft plastic. I use this practically anywhere because it's scented as well as it's action. I've gotten many species of fish with this; coral trout, orange spotted grouper, fingermark snappers, queensland groupers and malabar groupers. 

My preferred rigging method is with a texas rig, since that gives it a natural presentation and the weight will not be a factor in hooking up the fish. Best used with a simple bottom hop at the seabed is enough to entice fishes hiding in the reefs to come out to strike it.
